What a couple of weeks this has been for all of us.  Many of us are getting children back into school and trying to catch up for the time we took off in the summer!  Here at the office we are also scrambling and getting our ducks in a row for 2008 - and the great things it will bring!

Lessons Learned  - we have really grown over the last 6 months and I have learned the hard way that I can no longer wear so many hats.  A severe bout with the flu taught me that I too need to get help.  We do need some volunteers for small jobs - so if you have a special skill you would like to share with us - let us know.

Surveys.  On an interesting note - the surveys you have been answering have been very enlightening.  Each month we will have a new set of questions that you will be surprised at the results of.  There is a quick snapshot here.

Spelling.   On the topic of newsletters I fielded several comments about spelling errors we have made.  Yes we believe that correct spelling and grammar is important - but surprisingly - many of the comments we received about spelling had spelling errors in them!  (We promise to watch our spelling as closely as possible!)

We are coming to a town near you....if you want us to!  Roaring Women has recently invested in the Coast to Coast Coaching Coach.  (say that 3 times fast!)  Our first appearance will be at the National Women In Business Expo in Saskatoon - more here.  We will be using the coach to offer mini business coaching sessions at the show and wherever we travel to speak.  So if you have an even you would like us to attend - whether it is a Chamber of Commerce event or a local community show - let us know.

Can you believe it? On Tuesday I received a phone call from a lady in Winnipeg who found one of our members' products on the site - and wanted to know how much the shipping was - she wanted to order it!   Kelly Post of the Health Post was happy to hear from the buyer.  Who knows when someone will contact YOU about your product or service!

Coming soon - we hope to have the store up and running and available for login for all members so that they can upload and monitor their own products.  This will be a member benefit only!

Print newsletters will go out in the mail tomorrow - so watch your mailboxes - and be sure to get to one of our meetings listed below.  Someone is looking for you there.

The survey function on the site should be repaired this coming week - thank you for your patience!  We tool the new search down as many people did not like how it worked - so we have had it redesigned.  Members are currently listed alphabetically.

Last month's survey was on newsletters - and what a varied response we keep getting.  We have left the survey open as it has changed significantly three times... so if you have not yet responded - go ahead and do so!  Here are the results. 

1. Liked receiving professionally designed e-newsletters - 100% said YES
2. 46% wanted to receive an e-newsletter monthly, 28% wanted to get the newsletter bi-monthly (more than one answer often given)
3. 92% wanted an newsletter in their mailbox with valuable coupons
