"It
doesn't take any more effort to dream
a big dream than it takes to dream a small
dream" - General Wesley Clark (former
head of NATO)
Dear
Roaring Women Reader,
Words
cannot even begin to describe the effect
of the "Train the Trainer" 7
day Intensive that I attended in San Diego
had on me! Jack Canfield has been
training personal and business growth
seminars for over 40 years - and it is
clearly apparent. It was by far the greatest
experience of my lifetime
- and I learned more than I can put into
one newsletter! |
I
returned, wiser ( I hope), more balanced
and full of ideas on how I can pass this
information on to you! You can learn
more at our NEW MONTHLY coaching
calls - an added benefit of membership.
(yes that's right - no cost to attend)
I
have set these call for the first Monday
of every month - so be sure to join us!
Non
members may attend for $15.95 a session.
November
2nd 1:00 pm. EST, 11:00 AM MTN,

Recognizing
our own gifts and talents
Sometimes
we do not give ourselves enough credit for our
skills, gifts and talents. Yes we need
to learn to blow our own horn!
Last
week I met Erin Saxton - PR expert for
many very well known authors.
After a brief conversation - she hired
me to do some contract work for her.
She saw the value I had to offer when it came
to publicity and media interaction. So
there - I am blowing my own horn here!
But even more importantly - I want to share
this knowledge with you!
If
you are interested in getting more coverage
from the media or want to learn how
to incorporate media coverage in your marketing
then you need to attend the Media Training in
Vancouver on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
of next week.
I
have learned the tricks of the trade and I will
pass them on to you! I will be sharing
everything I know about attracting the media
and becoming their go-to person on any area
of your expertise at the Vancouver Media Training

We
can only accept 5 more attendees at our Vancouver
Media Training - so register before we sell

Creating
our own futures
We
talk about it all the time - but are you really
being proactive about it? How many minutes
do you spend a day focusing on the the small
things - the little bumps in the road?
(too many?)
One
thing that was driven home during the training
was that we must be proactive in the creation
of our futures - our lives - our dreams.
There were dozens of people from across the
world who shared experiences that I will share
with you over the next few weeks.
What's
the first step? To create your
own future you have to slow down enough to think
a little about what you really want.
Sometimes staying busy - using excuses like
"I have to drive the kids to..." or
"if I do not finish this tonight..."
keeps us from really thinking about our lives.
I
know, I used to do it. You can't fool
a fool-er! Do yourself a favour - find
5 minutes each day for the next 7 days and think
about what you would do, be or have if you could
be, do or have anything in the world.
Isn't your future worth at least 5 minutes a
day?
Here's
to following your dream,
|
