February is Time Management month - but it has also
been declared International Expect Success Month!
Wouldn't it be nice if we combined the two? International
Expect Success with your time management!
As
we focus on marketing this year, let's look at how we
can maximize our exposure without spending a lot of
time and money.
I
have mentioned many times about posting article on the
internet as a way to maximize your exposure. Over
four years ago, I posted a time management article on
the world wide web for free - and I looked to see if
it was still there today - and it is. You
can read it here. That means that for four
years for free my name was 'out there' attached to this
article - which in fact is hosted on over 20 sites.
In
2000, Charles M Schulz - creator of Charlie Brown and
'Peanuts' died. The Charles Schultz's story is
an inspiration to everyone who has ever thought of quitting.
In fact many of Charles M Schulz's teachers considered
him a failure and 'dull witted'. Years later he proved
them all wrong bringing laughter and joy to millions
of people every day. He turned his insecurities
into a talent. What weaknesses do you have that
could be used as a strength?
Another

One
of the biggest issues small business owners face is
the inability to offer or own extended
health care benefits.
So things like Chiropractic, prescriptions, glasses
and other extras must come out of our own personal income.
In
1997 the federal government introduced a program for
small business owners to enable them to get reimbursed
for those kinds of things - however they must use a
special government approved auditing type service to
do this.
Roaring
Women has released a program for all our members to
enable them to be reimbursed for all their health care
expenses that are not covered by their provincial programs.
This will enable each business owner to receive
back up to $1500 in medical expenses per person per
year. For those who have incorporated
businesses it will be more. You can
