Educate Dinner Meeting
Monday May 26, 2008
5:30pm-8:30pm
Royal Oak Golf Course - 540 Marsett Place, Victoria, BC

Every one of us has a unique personality made up of our
temperament and character. Our temperament determines the
strengths that we’re born with, the skills we use
instinctively, and the natural set of talents we often take
for granted. It takes many strengths, skills and talents
to build a successful business. No one does it all on their
own.
Communications Consultant and Temperament Certified Professional
Fiona Prince will lead a dynamic session in personal discovery
that will help you to appreciate and focus on what you’re
good at and to confidently seek out others whose strengths
and talents complement yours. By the end of the presentation,
you’ll have a new awareness of yourself and the
people around you and the tools to start putting temperament
theory to work for you.
Even
if you’ve done this type of self-discovery before,
Fiona will give you something new to think about.

Fiona
Prince has been delivering communications-related training
to groups and individuals for over fifteen years in both
the public and private sector. She has Bachelor of Fine
Arts in Theatre from the University of Victoria, a Masters
of Arts in Applied Communication from Royal Roads University,
and a Temperament Theory Certification from AdvisorTeam.com,
Inc. and Synergy Leaders, LLC in association with Dr. David

Fiona works from the premise that miscommunications are
inevitable and that when we (people) know how and why a
miscommunication occurs, we are better able to manage it
and get on with whatever project we're working on. At the
start of each workshop, she introduces the idea that we
are not paid to like the people we work with. We are paid
to do a job; and if miscommunications prevent us from doing
our job, then we have an obligation to ourselves, our coworkers,
our customers and our employers to learn how to manage them
so that we can continue to do what we're paid to do.
When we are given the opportunity to learn
how to manage miscommunications, we have less stress and
more fun at both work and home.
