Roaring Women Refund Policy

At Roaring Women Ltd. we want all our clients and members to receive the best possible service. We strive to keep our content current and our services updated to meet the needs of our clients. As a business organization, we offer incredible value through both the web site and also through the newsletters and other services including coaching, web design, pr services and all other services we have available.

Despite our best effort, we understand that there will be clients who will not be happy with what we have to offer, or have expectations that we cannot fulfill. Because of this we have devised a policy which we feel is fair and equitable for all.

Dinner Meeting Payments and Refunds

Dinner registrations are refundable only if cancelled before 72 business hours before an event. Dinner Meetings are not refundable when cancelled after 72 business hours before an event. Attendees who have registered by phone or online and who cannot attend the meeting they have registered will receive a free Online Roaring Women workshop of their choice. This free workshop may be redeemed anytime within 6 months of the missed meeting.

Should any meeting be cancelled by Roaring Women for any reason, all attendees will be fully refunded.

Cheques will not be accepted at the door unless authorized by Roaring Women Head Office or their designate. All NSF cheques will be subject to a $15 administration fee plus all bank charges. Any person reserving a space at a Dinner Meeting and agreeing to pay by cheque who does not arrive at the meeting will have the dinner charge added to their monthly membership payment.

Members purchasing Dinner Meeting Tickets for guests may purchase them at the discounted rate. Members may not use their own free member tables for guests to display their goods. All guests must pay for display tables if they order them. Free display tables are for members only.

Workshop Refund and Cancellation Policy

All Roaring Women sponsored* and Roaring Women workshops have a minimum attendance requirement.**  If minimum attendance is not achieved 7 days prior to the start date of the workshop or seminar - the workshop or seminar may be cancelled and registrants will be refunded in full.  Workshops or seminars may be cancelled up to 72 business hours before the event is to take place.  (Conferences are not included in this policy)

Any registrant of a workshop of seminar cancelling their attendance before 7 days prior to the shall receive a refund of  75% of the workshop fee.  (25% is a cancellation fee and is not refundable) Registrants cancelling within 7 full days of the start of the workshop will not receive a refund.  Compassionate refunds may be offered at the discretion of the president or designate and only in case of severe injury and disability of the registrant or death of an immediate family member.  (spouse, child or parent)

*Roaring Women 'sponsored' means any workshop or seminar where Roaring Women has sponsored or is receiving a portion of funds from the ticket sales.  This does not include conferences.

**Minimum attendance is set by the president and varies from event to event.

Coaching Payment and Refund Policy

All Roaring Women Coaches are certified by Roaring Women but are contractors to Roaring Women. They are not employed by Roaring Women Ltd. All members purchasing coaching month by month must pay for their coaching in advance of the sessions and are responsible for keeping their appointments with the coaches.

All coaching clients have indicated agreement to this policy by purchasing coaching services from Roaring Women through the web site or the Roar Store (www.roaringstoresales.com) . All coaching services that can be purchased will be linked to this policy via weblink wherever possible.

Missed and cancelled appointments

Any missed appointments without 72 hour notification to the coach will not be refunded. Coaches are not required to reschedule any appointments cancelled within 72 hours of the booked time.

If a coach must reschedule a coaching session - this must be done at least 72 business hours before the session. Coaches rescheduling after that time will offer the client one extra coaching session at no charge as a penalty.

Cancellation of coaching services

Clients are responsible for interviewing their potential coach before purchasing their services. Cancellation of coaching services with a refund may be made within 72 hours of the first coaching session. A $75.00 service charge will apply. All other funds will be returned. Any coaching sessions cancelled after 72 hours after the first session are not refundable. If the client notifies Roaring Women Ltd. within 72 hours of the first session of any concerns with the ability of the coach to provide adequate services, and additional 30 days will be added to the cancellation period and will remain in effect until 72 hours after the second coaching session. If the client feels that the coach cannot at this point adequately meet their needs, a full refund will be offered minus the $75.00 service charge.

No refund will be given after 72 hours after the second coaching session

A client may request another coach anytime after the first session should they not be satisfied with the services they have received, or they feel that there is a personality conflict with the coach. This request must be made within 72 hours of the last coaching session they have received.

Cancellation of coaching services for reasons other than dissatisfaction with services rendered will receive no refund.

Cancellation of ROAR Board Memberships

Clients who apply for ROAR Board membership will be considered individually upon merit and suitability.  Each application is screened and members may be refused by the President or their named representative.  Applicants will be charged an application fee - which will be refunded if their application is declined.  Coaches or the President will advise an applicant within 48 hours if their application has been declined.

Applicants must agree to a 12 month membership and once they have agreed to this via submission of their application online or in person, their application fee will be processed.  Applicants who are not suitable will have their application fee refunded. 

We guarantee that applying the principles and strategies members will learn while participating on the ROAR Boards will enable them to grow your gross income by 20% in 12 months. Failure to address your specific issues and assist a business owner with problem solving that will enable this increase will result in a full refund. Business owners must demonstrate that they have used all the strategies and resources provided to them to receive their refund.

ROAR Board applicants who have agreed to the terms of membership may not cancel for any reason other than they have not increased their businesses by 20% or more in 12 months. Business owners must demonstrate that they have used all the strategies and resources provided to them to receive their refund.  Once an application is submitted, applicants have 7 days to revoke their application.  After this time period the application becomes the contract of agreement for the terms indicated therein.  Non attendance or verbal or written cancellation will not relieved of the monthly payments until the 12 monthly payments have been fulfilled.

OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

Roaring Women LTD. and its subsidiaries (each, a "Roaring Women LTD Company") are committed to controlling the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information provided by its customers.

The Roaring Women LTD Privacy Policy is modeled after the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information and is compliant with federal and provincial privacy laws including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. A SINGLE POLICY

Roaring Women LTD referred to in this Privacy Statement and governed by the Roaring Women LTD Privacy Policy include Roaring Women LTD and all of its departments including but not limited to theroaringstoresales.com, Roaring Women Roar Report and the Roaring Women Newswire.

Any time you do business with a Roaring Women LTD Company, or with anyone acting as an agent on our behalf, you are protected by the rights and safeguards contained in the Roaring Women LTD Privacy Policy.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

"Personal information" is personally identifiable information such as your name, residential address and e-mail address and includes information about your product and service subscriptions and usage, credit information and billing records, service and recorded complaints.

Personal information is collected by the Roaring Women LTD Companies only when you specifically and knowingly choose to provide it us such as when you subscribe to a Roaring Women LTD publication, enter a Roaring Women LTD promotion or choose to receive information, products or services from a Roaring Women LTD .We may also receive personal information from our business partners and other third parties provided that such third parties confirm to us that they have obtained your consent to the disclosure of your personal information.

Publicly available information, such as a public directory listing of your name, address, telephone number and electronic address, is not considered personal information.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Roaring Women LTD collect and use your personal information primarily for the purpose of providing you with the products and services you have requested from us, including the delivery of news and related content through Roaring Women LTD television, print and online properties.

Your personal information is used to communicate with you about your account and to provide you with information related to other Roaring Women LTD publications and services. TEN PRINCIPLES OF FAIR INFORMATION PRACTICES

PRINCIPLE 1 - ACCOUNTABILITY Roaring Women LTD is responsible for the personal information under its control and shall designate one or more individuals who shall be accountable for the company's compliance with the procedures and principles set out in the Roaring Women LTD Privacy Policy.

PRINCIPLE 2 - IDENTIFYING PURPOSE Roaring Women LTD will identify the purpose for which personal information is collected at or before the time the information is collected.
