Real change comes about through people, those who are looking for and demanding change. Small things can result in great change and people do not always realize that they themselves can have a large impact. Jennifer Cook believes in cause and effect, and consciously employs this in her business life, her life and her support for charitable causes.
After sixteen years as a visual commercial designer, Jennifer is passionate about what she does. With each new project, she relishes the opportunity to learn about a new company, about what they do, the people who work there, and the people who are their customers. What do they need, what do they want to achieve, what are their goals and objectives, and what have they done before?
Functionality and effectiveness are key elements and she believes that it is necessary to analyze the past to enable a progressive outcome for a successful solution.
Environmental awareness is more prevalent than in years past, especially concerning over-packaging. Everything must be more dynamic, especially the way that a product is displayed. With increasing competition among products and consumers, it is important to design focused and unique solutions.
Jennifer strives to remain sharp. She finds that working with her clients on a project-by-project basis makes her think and see “outside the box.” Everything has to be different because each client and target audience is different.
In dealing with the stress of business and everyday life, she believes that if you work hard you need to play hard. As well as incorporating physical activity into your life, Jennifer offers the following advice. “Meditate if you can, take time to breathe, relax and count your blessings.”
