Originally from Detroit, Renae has covered much of the U.S. in her life and even lived in Europe. Renae met her husband Mark while they were both serving in the U.S. army in Germany.
With her background as a medical lab technician, her promotion to Sergeant was fast and proved to be instrumental when she met her husband to be, who was also in the medical field there. When Renae was sent to Texas, Mark followed.
They married, transferred to Maryland and in 1990 moved to Marysville, Washington to be near his family and new job. They started their family 3 years later and Renae happily was a full-time mom to their 3 sons.
In 2004, they started looking for an opportunity to do something different. A friend had started Hometown Values Coupon Magazine and offered them the opportunity to be the licensed owners for their own 4-city area. Eight months later, their new company was full time for both of them.
“We thought that ‘we’ as a team, could do this together”. With Mark’s experience in sales and database management, and with Renae’s dedication to being the relationship builder, they’ve grown a solid & profitable business in all 4 cities (Marysville, Mukilteo, Everett and Smokey Point/Arlington) by providing a quality product and developing lasting business relationships.

Along with regular coupon savings from a large variety of consumer venues, they also promote ‘awareness ads’ for professional people to become known to local users.
Hometown Values offers coupons only from local areas, never from national vendors, and that increases the personal touch.
