Caroline J Wong
Cleansing From the Inside Out

When Caroline Wong’s fourth child stopped breastfeeding, she developed eczema so severe she spent months wrapped in oils, unable to even tolerate the feel of clothes next to her skin.

With her daughter Emma unable to go to school or participate in normal childhood activities due to constant pain, Caroline went from doctor to doctor trying to find some sort of relief for her. Although the doctors all recommended the same types of treatments, nothing seemed to work for little Emma.

In desperation, Caroline started talking to anyone and everyone willing to listen, and while she admits that led to encounters with numerous ‘quack doctors’, it also opened the door to finding a solution.

“One naturopath sort of unlocked things for me,” she says. “We did a year-long cleanse, and that improved things somewhat, though for a while all she could eat was rice.”

In the midst of this cleanse process for her young daughter, Caroline herself developed eczema on her hands so severe that she had to wear gloves 24 hours a day. It was then that she was introduced to Arbonne, a line of skin care products. A Sea Salt Scrub, blended with essential oils brought Caroline overnight relief from the itching and within three months, her hands were healed.

Emma could not tolerate this particular product but found some level of comfort from other Arbonne oils. When a customer sent pictures showing how another cream’s rehydrating properties had virtually eliminated her wrinkles, Caroline decided to try it on her daughter. The effect was nothing short of miraculous; within two or three days, Emma started wearing clothes, sleeping etc, and was soon able to go to school again.

Shortly thereafter, a friend introduced Caroline to Isagenix, which is currently her main business focus. “Isagenix completed the picture for me,” she says. “Eczema is an external manifestation of an internal problem.

In Emma’s case, she had mercury poisoning from booster shots, and some of her organs such as her liver and kidneys were shutting down, so the toxins kept building up in her body.”

As a result of her daughter’s painful experience, Caroline is now passionate about health and nutrition. “I’m not the type of person to go up to someone I don’t know,” she tells me. “But now if I see someone itching and scratching, I feel I have to say something, especially where children are involved.”

“I always thought we were a generally healthy family, but we’re much healthier now. It’s not just about cleansing, it’s also about a cleansing lifestyle to prevent the organs from breaking down in the first place.”

Prevention through proper nutrition is particularly important in the case of children, because many of the cleansing products aren’t suitable for them.

As a nutritional cleanse support coach, Caroline helps clients identify personal health issues and weight goals and possible sources of toxins in their particular lives in order to recommend the best cleansing program. They then go through a nine day or thirty day cleanse, with Caroline checking in with them on a regular basis.

After the initial cleanse, clients embark on a maintenance program, which includes maintaining optimal nutritional intake and learning to recognize the symptoms, such as headaches or stomach pains, of toxins beginning to build up again.

Caroline’s own experience with cleansing was that it helped her regain energy and focus. As the mother of six children, including one whose poor health demanded a great deal of energy, Caroline functioned for years in a brain fog which was lifted once she started cleansing.

She now feels much better able to deal with the demands of her large family, and has also found she’s not as affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder as she has been in the past. She also cites weight loss as a side effect of cleansing.

Although Caroline has no medical background, she has access to a Medical Advisory Board consisting of various types of doctors and specialists. If a client has certain medical conditions, she can consult with these experts and all work as a team to support the client to achieve their best personal results.
