An award winning ex-police officer, mother of four and expert on networking are just a few of the hats she wears.

As a former Police officer Mandie understands human behaviour. She left her career in Policing in 2002 after 8 years of working on the road to pursue business interests. She now teaches business owners how to put people first and helps them to achieve their goals. She teaches how to maximize contacts and leads and turn them into business. Mandie currently freelances for the Hamilton Spectator, writing columns on Women in Business. She also writes a weekly e-zine that reaches over 1,000 readers. Her articles are published in several periodicals and all over the Internet. She has been covered in the media extensively and co-hosts Roaring Women Radio with Susan Valeri. Mandie has lead a mentoring group through the Small Business Enterprise Centre in Hamilton, trained for CDI College, and has taught Psychology and Life Skills Management in the Police Foundations Program.
Mandie is an expert in 'soft skills' training. A Certified Behaviour Consultant, she teaches others how to understand themselves, and then how to apply this understanding to others. Combining this information with Marketing, Networking and Sales Training in plain english is what makes Mandie a much sought after business coach. Last but not least, Mandie has also written and published a time management book for the 'solo-preneur' called 'When Every Second Counts'. A portion of proceeds from sales go to support "The Living Rock", a teen support charitable organization in Hamilton.
